That’s what Rabwah2045 is here to do—help the people of Rabwah learn the skills they need to thrive.
I’m building this in the open.
Every step, every plan, and every achievement will be shared with all of you via our social online communities.
It’s a “build in public” journey where your input shapes the movement’s future.
Rabwah is home to 100,000 people.
But it lacks in one critical area – no industries or organizations or medium-sized businesses.
There’s barely any company with more than 10 employees.
Time and again, many individuals have tried to establish businesses here.
But these efforts usually fail – held back by political interests or a lack of skilled local talent.
A large portion of wealth in Rabwah comes from remittances – the money sent by relatives working abroad.
It’s generous support, but it has created a cycle of dependency instead of self-earned growth.
Without job opportunities, generations of Rabwah’s best talent have moved abroad – sending money back to support their families.
This reliance on remittances has reduced the value of hard work and created long-term social challenges for future generations.
Many here dream of moving abroad – but that “someday” often means they miss out on today’s opportunities.
And even those with good education often end up in low-skilled jobs (odd jobs) abroad due to a lack of professional experience.
Despite strong education, many women face even fewer options for employment in Rabwah.
They are highly skilled but unable to use their talents meaningfully.
Rabwah is often a last resort for families fleeing from other regions of Pakistan.
But without economic prospects here – men are forced to find work elsewhere.
Leaving their families behind in Rabwah.
These families become “internal refugees” within their own country.
Former residents who’ve found success abroad want to support Rabwah’s growth.
Many send money back home, but this is only a temporary fix.
There’s no secure, structured way to make a lasting impact – a way to solve problems at their roots.
Rabwah needs sustainable solutions, not just financial aid.
Short-Term Projects
Through Rabwah2045 – I am building a platform to promote entrepreneurship and social business in Rabwah.
This foundation will work with a focus on transparency and community involvement.
Offering support to aspiring entrepreneurs every step of the way.
Medium-Term Projects
I plan to create partnerships with media to share Rabwah2045’s journey – giving our community and supporters a way to see our progress.
I also plan to build a coworking space.
A place where startups can collaborate and share costs while they grow and learn from each other.
Long-Term Projects
The Rabwah Development Fund will be launched.
This fund will provide startups with the funds needed to establish and scale their remote businesses.
This financial support aims to empower new ventures to grow sustainably and successfully.
Social business is a purpose-driven model.
Unlike traditional business, it’s not about personal profit.
In a social business, investors can recover their initial investment – but they receive no dividends.
The focus is solely on achieving a social goal.
For Rabwah2045, the goal is to enable local talent and build a sustainable economy.
All profit is reinvested to grow Rabwah’s ecosystem and support remote startups.
This is business as a force for good.
