Rabwah is home to 100,000 people.
But it lacks in one critical area – no industries or organizations or medium-sized businesses.
There’s barely any company with more than 10 employees.
Time and again, many individuals have tried to establish businesses here.
But these efforts usually fail – held back by political interests or a lack of skilled local talent.
A large portion of wealth in Rabwah comes from remittances – the money sent by relatives working abroad.
It’s generous support, but it has created a cycle of dependency instead of self-earned growth.
Without job opportunities, generations of Rabwah’s best talent have moved abroad – sending money back to support their families.
This reliance on remittances has reduced the value of hard work and created long-term social challenges for future generations.
Many here dream of moving abroad – but that “someday” often means they miss out on today’s opportunities.
And even those with good education often end up in low-skilled jobs (odd jobs) abroad due to a lack of professional experience.

Instead of launching a large program too early, we will first build the foundation: mentors, supporters, local coordination, startup infrastructure, and a clear pilot model.
Build the Founding Circle
The first step is to bring together a small group of committed people who can help launch Rabwah2045 properly: mentors, advisors, donors, local coordinators, operational support, and strategic partners.
This Founding Circle will create the foundation for the first startup pilot.
Launch the Startup Hub and Founder Fellowship
Rabwah2045 will establish a simple startup and coworking hub in Rabwah and launch an AI Founder Fellowship to identify serious founders and startup teams.
The goal is to support practical IT and AI-enabled businesses that can serve international markets.
Build the Rabwah Development Fund
In the long term, Rabwah2045 aims to create a transparent social business funding model to support startups, reinvest profits, and grow Rabwah’s IT ecosystem sustainably.
The fund will only be developed after the first pilot results, legal structure, and governance model are clear.
Social business is a purpose-driven model.
Unlike traditional business, it’s not about personal profit.
In a social business, investors can recover their initial investment – but they receive no dividends.
The focus is solely on achieving a social goal.
For Rabwah2045, the goal is to enable local talent and build a sustainable economy.
All profits are reinvested to grow Rabwah’s IT ecosystem, support founders, and create sustainable economic opportunities.
